Huffy color problem when encoding with WiMediaEncoder

Just noticed tonight after doing a lossless conversion using Huffy, the video looks good...until I go to encode it in Windows Media Encoder. When WME encodes it, it looks as if my subjects with tans become ghosts and are much lighter than what was captured. One of my subjects is a light skinned black who is white. My friend called it the Michael jackson effect. Anyway to correct this?

I'd love to help you bit i ain't got a clue as to what Huffy is.
I hear the name come up from time to time but never delved into it.
Have you tried going from Huffy to avi and then to wmv?

Huffy is lossless avi.
