Huge output file getting created!

I have a problem with Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.0

I have a short project approx 5mins long. Mostly text, a small video clip and a short anim create in CS5. It is 1080p
Rendering out to Quicktime .mov just the loop region.
It took over 1hour ro render and output file was a whopping 62GB.
Something very wrong there.
Noted that it appeared to have finished the last frame when it indicated 75% finished - then spent ages rendering the last 25%.
Who can can help me out.

You probably rendered to uncompressed .mov, which would be about 11GB per minute. You need to pick a template with the compression you want to use in order to get a reasonable size file.

Just export like this: http://eugenia.queru.com/2007/11/09/exporting-with-vegas-for-vimeo-hd/ MP4 will be read by Quicktime fine.
