Humming Noise

I did a video shoot and took a live feed from a DJ. When I monitored the sound there, it wasn't too bad. Then when I captured it and brought it back into vegas 6, it sounds really bad. Apparently the DJ's equipment was not properly grounded, hence creating the humming noise. Is there a plug-in or filter that I can use to eliminate the humming noise?

Thanks

You most likely will have 60Hz and 120Hz noise. In Vegas use EQ noise filter.
Adjust filter tab 1 for high pass and set near 150 to start.

Next time consider a DB box. ProCo Sound DB1 or a Kwik Fix adapter.

A less savage way would be to use notch filters or NR2 in SF.
This assumes you have clean hum, no nasty harmonics i.e. it's a hum, not a buzz, that's when things get messy. In that case you'd probably do better with NR2.
