When I capture with V4 from my Sony DV camera the resulting clip is always in mono but when I capture with ScenalyserLive the resulting clip is in stereo. When playing back the Vegas captured clips the L/R voicemeter indicates the exact same strenght/volume whilst when playing back Scenalyser (demo) clips the L/R voicemeter indicates different strenght/volume. The very same clip has a bitrate of 3.62 MB/sec when captured with Vegas and 3.70 when captured with Scenalyser (they clips don't have exactly the same length but my calculations are based on the exact length of each individual clip).
The question is if Vegas don't capture DV in stereo, if there is something wrong with my set-up or if just doing something wrong when capturing (can't see how this could be the case since it is just to press the button). Anyone that has any idea what's going on?
TIA
Hans
