@Corujao That file icon indicates that it IS "Run as Admin" which would explain why you can't drag and drop files.

If I run V16 (not set to run as admin) drag and drop works, run it as admin and it does not. As I normally launch Vegas via the scheduled task manager which allows Vegas to run as admin with no additional box to appear which you have to click yes to, drag and drop does not work. Running as admin allows me to run a script when rendering which will turn off the PC - this requires Vegas to be run in admin mode. I have never seen any issue with Vegas not opening by running it via a scheduled task shortcut. In preference I just prefer to import media from within Vegas.
