I can't drag files to the timeline

I already know that there are other ways to import files into the editor, but I've always liked to click and drag to the timeline, and unfortunately it's not working, although the ''Run as admin'' option is already unchecked in the file's properties. This is the file icon

I cannot do it either V20 (326), however I never want to use this way of adding media.

@Corujao That file icon indicates that it IS "Run as Admin" which would explain why you can't drag and drop files.

If I run V16 (not set to run as admin) drag and drop works, run it as admin and it does not. As I normally launch Vegas via the scheduled task manager which allows Vegas to run as admin with no additional box to appear which you have to click yes to, drag and drop does not work. Running as admin allows me to run a script when rendering which will turn off the PC - this requires Vegas to be run in admin mode. I have never seen any issue with Vegas not opening by running it via a scheduled task shortcut. In preference I just prefer to import media from within Vegas.
