Vegas POST is no more ... the 3rd party company that provided the Vegas Effects and Vegas Image has closed its doors and those products are therefore no longer available. However, if you have VE or VI from a previous Vegas POST purchase, you can continue to use those products as standalone products - VE and VI will no longer link from Vegas Pro 22.

The current line-up from VEGAS is Vegas Pro and Vegas Pro Suite both available by subscription or by a perpetual licence purchase. Please see Vegas Pro's product page for details about each of those options:

@Paul-Hawkes

I am sorry to say that VEGAS Post has been discontinued as our licensing agreement with FXhome to develop VEGAS Effects and VEGAS Image was cancelled.

Thanks for letting me know. Shame.

It is a shame, both were great products. Hopefully eventually VEGAS can develop these features into the core app as time goes on... but this is a small team doing big things, so expect it to take some time. Thankfully VEGAS was already a very capable motion graphics app on its own, a few UI tweaks and it will be much more so.

I went on FXHome website, and it looks like it's completely down. Strange. Hitfilm was my first foray into video editing.

I watched a roundtable livestream about the sunsetting of HitFilm several weeks ago, and Josh Davies had some really nice things to say about the Vegas developers. I almost posted it back then, but hesitated because probably a lot of people on this forum were burned by the loss of HitFilm / Vegas Effects. But, now seems like a good time. Josh Davies (lower right corner) was the founder if FxHome and its predecessors.

Edit: The YouTube link I posted here lost the timeline jump. Go to 42:30 in the video.

Josh is a really great person. We had a wonderful relationship with FXhome and their team. We were extremely sad when our partnership with them ended.
