I can't find the Smart Mask effect in the Video Event FX.

Is this normal?

What is new in the Picture 2 Picture effects in Vegas Pro 20.326?

What is new in the Welcome screen in Vegas Pro 20.326?

I don't understand the Hover Scrub bypass! When I drag and drop to the timeline only a part of the clip be taken!

Ok, thank you for your help. Indeed I can now find Smart Mask in the Video Event FX! Since I had divided my effects into specific folders, I had not immediately found Smart Mask.

Today I get the welcome screen! Not yesterday! Maybe because I had opened a project that wasn't new?

Which is a good addition after all!

Do you have an answer to the question related to the Hover Scrub bypass?

@Amivideotek - Don't drag and drop, just press ENTER and wherever your TImeline Cursor is, you'll get whatever you've selected within the Thumbnail. The Hover Scrub bypass stops Previewing as you scrub thru' the Thumbnail. Think of this feature a bit like the Trimmer, but within the Project Media window.

Yes, but what advantage does this give if by-passing the Hover Scrub that the preview in the thumbnail stops?

Wouldn't it be more interesting when by-passing the Hover Scrub that the selection handles disappear and no preview is shown in the thumbnail. We're getting back the situation as it used to be for the people who don't use the Hover Scrub but are annoyed by it?
