I can't upload video to the vegas while audio can.

VEGAS Pro 365 Registration date:29/10/2025

I have laptop and desktop. Installed this to both computer. The desktop working ok but laptop doesn't.

Video can't upload to laptop while audio can. I get a message "The activation code is incorrect. Please make sure it has been entered correctly or contact the MAGIX customer service." I've contacted customer service many times but I don't get reply at all.

If audio is ok to be uploaded, it means the activation code is correct.

Why I can't upload video?

What do you mean by uploading video to laptop?

Probably importing the file to the project. It looks like the video codec isn't unlocking.

With a new install of Vegas Pro, some codecs need to be activated before they can be used. From point 10 in:

The following codecs require online additional activation the first time they are used in each version. Therefore if you connect your PC to the internet especially to activate VEGAS, it is recommended to also make short renders in these formats before disconnecting, if you anticipate using them:

Intel HEVC/MAGIX ProRes

Magix AVC/AAC MP4

MainConcept MPEG-2

MP3 Audio

AAC Audio

Dolby Digital AC-3 Studio

Sony XAVC-L/XAVC Intra MXF

Please note that this was written some years ago so some of those codecs may no longer be applicable to Vegas Pro 23 - but is your laptop online when you try to import the video event/s to Vegas Pro 23 on your laptop so as to enable the activation process? If yes, are there any firewall security settings on the laptop that may be blocking access to MAGIX's activation system?
