I got a new 2 cpu on my computer

I got a new 2 cpu with AMD MP on my computer,
Will I set something on V4,it will become fast ot not??
But I still feel action solw on V4 !!
My RAM is 1.5G
Video card is Matrox128ram.

Do you mean you have a new amd 2ghz computer, and you want to know if it will run VV4.0 faster ? What kind of computer did you have before the 2ghz one ?

I think it`s slow for me,
My OS is Win XP !
When I rander a video(include 2Track movie-one is dv avi with chromer key FX,another is photo JPG for key fx background)
I rander DV avi,it`s need one hour to do it!!
But I rander mpeg file with Tmpgenc ,it`s just need 1:1 speed to do it !!!

You are talking about 2 completely different situations. Sometimes rendering, with many effects, can take hours, depending on how many effects and tracks you have on your project. Rendering to mpeg2 at 1:1 is OK, and fast.

A better test is, rendering a one minute .avi to the mpeg2 setting in vegas. How long does this take ? It takes me about 90 seconds on an amd xp2700 machine. Best times I've seen reported for this was about 50-55 seconds on an intel 3.06 ghz computer.This will tell us how long your computer is taking to do an easily measured operation.

Sorry , I didn't understand you, and didn't realize you had a 2 cpu AMD computer. Your computer will not run much faster than a single cpu computer of the same speed. There is nothing for you to change or set. However, you can open Vegas twice, so that you have two vegas's open at the same time, and render on one-(on one cpu), while you edit on the other-(the #2 cpu).You dont have to set anything, the computer will do it by itself. This will make things-the whole process of editing and rendering-go faster. Good luck...
