I lose themes, buttons, backgrounds

when I choose new, single movie and then I open media. This does not happen when I choose menu based.
Help??

This could be because the single-movie option means that your DVD does not have menus. It simply auto-launches into your movie!

Notice how he loses the Insert option on the toolbar.
I did it the way he did and then after right clicking on my menu I selected "navigate into." And it brought back the themes, buttons, etc.
Go figure.
