Good day, and Happy Holidays.
Ok... On to "business."
I'm trying to deliver my first Widescreen DVD, and I can't seem to get it right.
Currently, when I burn the DVD and pop it into my DVD player, displayed on my Samsung widescreen plasma, the video is vertically squished.
Flipping back and forth on the display, between 16:9 and 4:3, the vertical hight remains the same, but on the 4:3 the sides are obviously pulled in.
In Vegas 7d, I have my timeline laid out using the "NTSC DV Widescreen" template. All looks swell.
I render out using the MainConcepts MPEG-2 type and "DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen video stream" template.
Settings are Default, 720 x 480, 29.970, 16:9.
Shouldn't this be correct to get a 16:9 DVD on my DVD player and dislpay?
My self-imposed deadline is past (midnight last night), so any help is most appreciated.
