I need a good advice about a new CD-writer

I really plan to buy a new and faster CD-writer shortly, an external device, I think.
But I need to be sure that it will be fully compatible with CDA 5.

I'd like to know which brands and models of external CD-Writers people here are using without any problems.

I use a internal plextor plexwriter 40/12/40A with a ADS firewire encloser. IOW I can now use the drive outside of my computer and it works great connected via firewire to my 1394 pci card. I think I paid $100 at compusa when it first came out? I bought both in tandem. HTH.
