I need a solution to "Error 24"

I bought Vegas Pro 18 from MAGIX, installed and registered to my email. Tried to drag a video file and USE THE PROGRAM and it tells me "error code: -24, registered to a different email"

Please help me, because trying to get an answer from their "support page" is a joke.
