Would you believe Vegas Pro 9 includes one??? It has a new Gradient transition and one of the options is STAR.

No Vegas Transitions have come with a ready-to-wear Star transition. BUT now IN Vegas 9!!! Thanks Edward!

You'll need a plugin. Something along the lines of Pixelan.

In the past I've used a bitmap + a 3rd party Transition builder that works in Vegas. But you should really be looking elsewhere.

Grazie, it's a wonderful transition as you can use any grayscale image to get all kinds of different transitions. Previously, there was a free "luminance" transition (don't remember the link) that worked similarly.

notanactor i have some star transitions i created for a project.you are welcome to them just e-mail me your adress and i will send them
i have stars in a line from left to right one at a time ovelap etc

use them with the luminance plug if you dont have pro 09
