I need a util to trim mpeg-2 files

Hi,

I need a util to simply trim mpeg-2 files and save them WITHOUT RECOMPRESSING THEM!

Imagine the smart encode feature that VV has for DV, but for mpeg-2 files.

One that has frame-step ability to mark in out points would be preferred.

Any ideas?

I did -- it seems really slow that i'm curious if it really isn't recompressing the video somewhat

On the JOIN/CUT menu, there is a window that list MPEG streaming formats. Be sure this matches your original file, or it will re encode.

But it is a slow process either way.
