I need some help removing a license from a PC that no longer has VP?

I wiped my old laptop clean about a year ago and gave it to my sister. I'm assuming that I forget to disable VP from that PC because when I tried to enter it on my desktop that hasn't worked in 8 months (I've been using a laptop) I get a message saying I have used both of my licenses. The weird thing is that the installer accepted my VP code, but not the Boris FX code. I have Vegas Pro 16 Suite. I don't have direct access to my old laptop, but I can walk my sister through the steps.

Youself have to go to: https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/

go to "My Products" and search the software you'r asking about and select "Show more details"

There you can choose the "Device name" on which the license must be deleted.
