I NEED URGENT HELP. My project keeps crashing my entire PC.

I have a really good rig.

4080 Super paired with a 7950x3d and 32GB of Ram at 6000.

Whenever I open my project. Both of my screens shut down, then only one proceeds to turn on and my gpu ceases to be recognized by the PC.

I sunk a lot of hours into the project I need urgent help!

Nowhere online can I find why or how to recover this project!

What version and build of VEGAS?

Try updating GPU drivers to the current NVIDIA Studio driver.

Does any project work? There are two in my signature that should open fine.

Custom PC (2022) Intel i5-13600K with UHD 770 iGPU with latest driver, MSI z690 Tomahawk motherboard, 64GB Corsair DDR5 5200 ram, NVIDIA 2080 Super (8GB) with latest studio driver, 2TB Hynix P41 SSD and 2TB Samsung 980 Pro cache drive, Windows 11 Pro 64 bit

ASUS Zenbook Intel i9-13900H with Intel graphics iGPU with latest ASUS driver, NVIDIA 4060 (8GB) with latest studio driver, 48GB system ram, Windows 11 Home, 1TB Samsung SSD.

VEGAS Pro 21.208
VEGAS Pro 22.122

22 pro

Drivers were up to date.

I found a solution.

Project was overloaded (over 150gb of 60k bitrate gameplay and about 30gb of high fidelity cam video plus iphone recordings for other angles)

I went into the last folder I added to the project. Duplicated it. Deleted it and the project open asking for the missing file folder. I opened those files on another folder (they were the high fidelity camera ones). Edited them. Rendered them and replaced that section in the project with this new render.

Basically if your project crash or doesnt load try relocating the latest files you added and render the project in multiple pieces, then stitch it together

Better capture settings may help with stability.
