And I went through the help menus and I STILL can't figure this out:

How do I make the Spice effect in widescreen...so the effect doesn't blast the whole screen? I'm thinking just leave it and burn the final DVD in widescreen mode

Never mind. I figured it out. I chose "clear" in the frame adjustment. Voila...the effect stays within the widescreen frame
