I started keeping a media library

and I am starting to catalog all my audio files. When I went there today, there were several files that I have worked on recently. I do not want these files auto added to my media manager. I have a special file for my audio - only. Is there a way to keep these seperate?

In Vegas general preferences: uncheck "save media-usage relationship in active media library"

You may want to clean you library. In media manager window, open the options window and select the media library tab. A button give you the ability to wipe out all usage relations.
