I hate to say it, but I am not sure what all the looks are that you are trying to achieve. VMSP has an old film effect package under the Video FX tab. It has a number of customizable parameters. I am not sure what you mean by a wind effect unless you are looking for a motion blur which is not in VMSP. You can do a variety of text style, but if you mean a background of raining text, then that is more than VMSP can handle. I can do it in Vegas Pro, but it is really best done in a special effects program.

Take a stroll through all of the video effects under the video effects tab in VMSP. There is a good variety. New Blue FX also has a nice set of additional add-ons that work very well with VMSP. You can pick and choose what you need for a propject.
