What do you mean... import into iDVD?

If you're hoping to Import & Edit an already authored DVD into iDVD... it will not work.
Same as you will not be able to Import & Edit into DVDA.

No matter what program you use to author the DVD... you will not be able to reimport the DVD and Edit it. You'll need to have the actual iDVD or DVDA or DVDSP or ENCORE project file with all the elements as assets.

Vegas will Import the files/chapters from an UnLocked DVD though.
You can also drag/drop/copy/paste the .VOB files and rename them with a .mpg extension and they should play... but will probably not import into iDVD without transcoding to a DV file.

Please post back if you find otherwise.
