If I uninstall Vegas Pro will I loose all my vegas files?

My laptop suddenly won't run Vegas. It was working fine until I uninstalled Novell Client. Now Vegas won't load (don't know if this is somehow related or not) I am going to reinstall Vegas to see if that will help. I have some Vegas files that I will certainly back up but I was wondering if they will be affected by the reinstallation.

All your .veg and media files will be completely untouched by the uninstallation / reinstallation. The only thing to worry about is if you've saved them in the Vegas program directory, make sure you don't delete that directory after you uninstall. If you do have them there, that's probably not a good place to have been storing them anyway.
