If you copy the P-I-P Plug-in from Vegas 15 to Vegas 14 will it work?

I have a friend that just got Vegas Pro 15 and I really like the new Picture In Picture plug-in, and when I saw that it was an OFX plug-in i started wondering if it would work on Vegas 14. so, Would it work?

Technically it works. Legally, it's in breach of parts 6.1/6.3 of the EULA (as I interpret it, even if you own both versions).
