Does anyone happen to know if there's any special pricing for people who upgraded to Vegas 7 but didn't buy Cinescore at the time?

At the time of the Vegas 7 release I was new to Cinescore so wanted to try the program before buying.

Hi.

So the "deal" you are referring to is the $49 download/$59 compele package deal? That is not going to be offered anymore?

Was considering on upgrading - bought V6 just a month outside of new V7 one month grace upgrade period. Hard pill to swallow.

Thanks.

Not sure what you mean -- there's no "$49 download / $59 complete package deal."

busterkeaton is referring to the early-bird discount in which, however you buy Vegas, it's about $100 off the regular price. For example, someone upgrading from Vegas 6 to Vegas 7 can download the new version for $135 or get it on CDROM for $149. After today, it's about $100 more.

As for your situation, if you bought and registered Vegas 6 recently, call Sony customer service. Chances are pretty good that they'll give you a free upgrade to Vegas 7.

Ohhh - you (big) boys are talking about using Vegas, as in not Movie Studio Vegas. Of course. <bowing in front of you>

When I grow up I want to be like you. :)

Are you being sarcastic? And if so, why?

They just extended the deal to Nov 3rd.

"Now save $100! Through November 3, upgrade from any version of Vegas or the Vegas+DVD software to the new Vegas+DVD Production Suite for only $149.95."

I just upgraded a few days ago. I had purchased a copy of Vegas 6 (without DVDA) from B&H a month or two before V7 was released. Got it on sale for $129. Then I got to upgrade to the v7+DVDA4+AC3 for only $149. Total price for the latest complete Vegas package ? $280. As Borat would say, "Nice".

Hope I get some time to try it out this weekend.
