I looked all through the keyboard shortcuts and did not see one. I also searched the help and did not see any shortcuts listed. sorry.

I have yet to try it out but I know MartyH has had alot of succes with a macros program called RemoteKeys (freeware). I bet you could use that to make your own shortcut. -Shon

Thanks, Sr C. I had also looked in the help and the manual before posting the question (of course to me, but generally not followed ;-))

Anyway, the probleam about using a macro is that you will have to rely on button placement and mouse movement (because there is not an hotkey and there is not an equivalent in the commands bar (I guess... VV not here).

MartyH, do you hint ?

Isn't this important to many? I mean, I was using U (ungroup) and G (group) all the time, whenever I wanted to extend the overlay of the audio track or using an audio track elsewhere (for example) and whenever I forgot, the video moved together and I had to undo. With the "Ignore..." button is way too much easier, but I am forced to move the mouse away from what I am doing, push the button, make my moves and then go and push the button again. Much easier with a shortcut, wouldn't it ?

Hi sqblz,

I agree that a keboard macro would be very suitable.

You can assign a hotkey in RemoteKeys that will click the mouse at a pre-determined spot. Since the "ignore" button doesn't move (provided you keep the Vegas window maximized), the hotkey should always hit the button properly.

Check the "Macros" tutorial below for more info...

OF COURSE !!!
If I keep the window maximized the button won't move !!!
Sometimes the evident is hard to see. Thanks for that one, Marty.
