Image movement

I have a video background and I'd like to move images across the background but not sure how to do it in Vegas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use Pan/Crop with keyframes to add motion to the images. You have to do each image individually but it gets to be a flow after a while. Just open Pan/Crop, set a keyframe at the end, change the pan/crop settings and you have instant motion from the first keyframe to the last.

I understand Pan/Crop but not sure which settings you are talking about. I added a keframe at the end and the image is static. I'm new to Vegas so any details would be helpful.
