Image on screen

I am wondering what I am doing wrong with my settings. I am not covering the entire screen when I preview.

I set the preferences to 720X480 and I still have black bars on the sides or top and bottom depending on the settings (352X480) Is that what I will get when I finnish the process and view the project in a DVD player?
Can someone please give me a reference to go by? I wonder if the settings should be changed in Movie Studio before I render? I'm just not doing something correctly.
Thank you for your help
John

I'm not sure what you're saying, Lord. What have 352x480 got to do with it?

Both widescreen and standard 4:3 video are 720x480 pixels. So it depends on how you have your project set up in DVD Architect, whether it is 16:9 or 4:3.

Likewise, the video you output from MovieStudio is going to be either 16:9 or 4:3, and if this video matches the DVD Architect setup, you shouldn't get letterboxing.

Ya see.... It's people like you that make the world go 'round!
You answered my question by telling me to set both MS and DVD Arch to the same settings. How simple.

Thank you so much. I really need to do this more often to stay up on all of the aspects. I guess I wear too many hats at this point, but it sure is a lot of fun.
Thanks again for your input.

And, of course, if you're looking for more in depth information on DVD Architect (as well as a great reference manual), be sure to check out my book on Amazon! ;)
