image sequance import

Can someone tell me if and how to import an image sequance .I can't seem to find it anywhere .I have 2000 targa files I need

Project Media | Import Media ( browse to your stills & select them) | CHECK "Open still image sequence" | Open

Actually... there is one more very important thing that people often leave out and get in trouble with later. Once you press OPEN, you will see a media window pop up. Make sure that you set the frame rate to the actual frame rate that the images represent when they were created. If you do not, it will default to your project's frame rate which may or may not be correct.

Or, for those of us who *never* look at the project media window ... File / Open, check the 'import image sequence' box at the bottom of the dialog.
