Images in project media bins

How can I tell which images I've already added to my video? I have about 300 pictures in the media bin and it doesn't show me which ones have already been used. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Thanks for any help!

If you switch your view in the Project Media panel from Thumbnails view to Details view and widen the panel far enough, you'll see a column named Use Count.

The number in this column indicates the number of times your media file is being used on your timeline. By clicking its column header, you can set the panel to list your files based on the number of times each appears on your timeline.

With the Project Media tab open click the lightning bolt icon. All media NOT on the timeline will disappear leaving only media that is on the timeline.
