IMPLEMENTING MIDI IN VEGAS PRO

Hello everyone,

My name is Marianne Kerpstra and I am a video editor and visual effects artist living in Holland.

I downloaded the Vegas Pro 14 trial version and I have to say that I am very impressed with it's audio editing capabilities.

However, Vegas Pro does not seem to have VSTi ( Virtual Studio Instruments ) support.

Is the Vegas Pro team planning on putting VSTi support in Vegas Pro soon ? Because that would be very handy.

It would also be nice if they put all the best features of Acid Pro inside of Vegas Pro.

I totally agree with marianne that vegas pro should also have midi support. I find it a fantastic video and audio editor but the midi seems to be missing. So with midi I mean virtual instruments.

I hope not! I don’t want to have to pay hundreds more for someone else’s choice of virtual instruments.

Vegas has never supported MIDI.. (or VST instruments), even when it was a DAW / audio only app, and I don't see it happening either.. which is fine with me.
