Import key short cuts from other software ?

I do way more work in audio (Cubase) than I do with video in Vegas.

It always trips me up a bit b/c out of habit I want to use my Cubase keyboard short cuts and it is hard on the muscle memory to go back and forth.

Is there an easy way to just have vegas respond to my standard cubase shortcuts.

G H - zoom in and out on timeline

key pad +/- move cursor back and forth on time tline

space = start stop (with out moving curso back to where it began)

etc?

Vegas 19.0, on a W10 64 bit OS, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz   3.00 GHz, 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeFORCE GTX 1660 with latest studio driver ( Feb 2022), Windows OS is on a 1 TB SSD, project data is on a 2 TB ssd, Archived projects are on a 4TB HD

<VP21, check "Make spacebar and F12 Play/Pause instead of Play/Stop" in Options > Preferences > General.

In VP21 this is a button under the preview window.

For your other ones, it might be possible under Options > Customize Keyboard.

If not then a script might do it.

Hi @AaronL You can copy/paste the 'keyboard.ini' file from other versions of Vegas if that helps any (C:\Users\-user name-\AppData\Roaming\VEGAS Pro\21.0), or you can modify the file with a text editor if you know the 'codes'. If you import a keyboard file from another app, Vegas would likely just replace it with a new default keyboard file.. at least that's what occurred in my experiments in Sound Forge.
You can always use the built-in keyboard shortcut utility in the 'Options' menu.
