I'm using Vegas Pro 7 with the latest build. When I import media for a DVD is seems to be very slow. Also, sometimes it hangs-up. Task manager reports that Vegas is no longer responding. After I kill Vegas Pro 7, when I restart the application, it reports that there is a recovery file it can load.
It seems like the Media Import process needs to be fine tuned.
I'd appreciate some suggestions to speed up the process and avoid the system crash.
I'm using WinXP with SP2 and all of the latest Windows Updates. I did a fresh WinXP install on a new hard drive.
