Import one photo per track

I've seen many examples of how to import multiple pictures with a crossfade but haven't been able to find an example of how to import multiple photos and create a new track for each photo. Is there a simple way to do this?

Select your photos in project media, right click and drag photos to timeline, select option to add across tracks.

Select all the pictures you want to add, right-click and drag them to the timeline and select "Add Across Tracks". Each image will now be on its own track.

Jeff, follow my instructions. Once you drag them to the timeline, let go of the cursor and the dropdown menu will come up allowing you to choose from several options.
