Import VOB HELP

I am useing Movie Studio 8 and when I put a DVD I got from a store and go to file Import Media and pick any of the VOB file from my DVD it say Could Not Import media.

And the Details tab just say the same thing and that an error happaned.

I did not make this DVD it is one O got from a Video store a fue years ago and I am tryinh to tak clips from it. So I was thinking off just Importing a VOB file and then do what I want with that and so on.

Try copying the VOB file to your hard drive. Then open explorer and drag the file into the timeline. That should work. If not, try renaming the extension of the file to .mpg first, then drag it to the timeline.

If that doesn't work, the DVD encryption is preventing you from reading the file. Try using CladDVD.net to rip the file, using the PGC mode to get an AVI file that should go nicely into Vegas. CladDVD is freeware available at http://www.free-codecs.com/download/cladDVD_NET.htm
