imported .mov file on timeline...no audio

I have a .mov file I created from DVD using Titanium Toast (on Mac.)

The file plays fine in Windows on a media player, with audio intact. When I bring the file onto the timeline, the video is comes to the timeline, but the audio does not separate onto its own track.

What to do?

Forgot to say that I have Movie Studio Platinum 9.

Install an older version of Quicktime (uninstall the one you're using now)

That doesn't really seem like a viable solution. Which earlier version do you suggest? Has this solution actually worked for you? Has Sony acknowledged this issue?

4) Yes
MPEG-4 audio is no longer functional
