Importing 4 track MXF audio

I am struggling with importing audio from Sony MXF XAVCi with Pro 17. There are 4 channels of audio recorded but when imported into Vegas Pro only 2 channels appear. How do I get Vegas Pro to recognise and display the other 2 channels ?

What are your Project Properties/Audio settings? If stereo, you're only going to get 2 tracks. If you haven't already done so, try the 5.1 Surround setting.

@STEWART-NEWELL, select the Import MXF as Multichannel preference on the General preferences tab. I'm not positive it will work with that file, but try it.

Gary, Thanks. That is the solution....it actually imports EIGHT tracks of audio including the 4 which the Sony FX9 outputs.
