Importing from Canon XF300 CF card

A guy I work with just bought a Canon XF300. I am considering getting one, also. When he pulls clips off the CF card into Vegas each clip goes in a seperate folder. Anyone know how to keep all the clips in 1 folder?

Yes. I have the same XF300 model. I use the Canon Utility. This utility will easily allow you to "Export MXF" Media into a pre-arranged Folder. You can download it from the Canon site.

Would that Canon Utility also work with a CF card from a XF100? Any issues working with these Canon XF100/XF300 files in Vegas?

I have had Zero issues using the MXF container in Vegas 11 or 12. I have had an initial issue SEEING the Thumbnails in the new VP12 Explorer - but that's another barrel of haddocks!
