Importing media files from multiple folders

My panasonic camcorder camcorder stores movie clips in seperate dated folders therefore so I have clips stored in multiple folders once copied to my PC. I cannot work out how to import ALL clips at once into Vegas 11 without laboriously opening each folder individually and dragging out the files. Surely there must be an easy way of doing this?

Do you need to keep them in separate folders? If it was me, i'd move all the clips related to the current project into one single folder first, before importing them into Vegas.

As I am often disorganized and in a hurry when doing a job on short notice, I pull files from different folders, drives, other computers, even the desktop into the same project.

Then, when I want to save, I clear unused media from the Project Media, and save using the "Save Media with Project" option in its own, dedicated folder.

That way, I'm completely organized the next time I open the project to work on it. At some point, after I've made the money print, I'll either dump the redundant media or save the folder for a couple of years on a storage drive.
