Importing music from a CD

When I attempt to import media and select a sony from the CD to import, it appears to process it and then at 99% it comes up with an error message. Does anybody know what I can do to resolve this????

i hear your pain. having the same problems with 90% & error. only know wav is the preferred audio file. with vegas4 it seems to struggle with audio !
