John Excellent Summing up of The usual routes.. Still though even if you went as far as graded Telecine It would STILL end up on DV.. Even if you used Digibeta I dont think you would be able to edit with this in Vegas let alone the Prohibitive cost..SO If you Use Steadyhand say( to Then work on this TYPE footage) or even smooth the Motion, Using track Motion ADDED Widescreen OR Zooming in for Perhaps C/Us Then your end result would be less Of the Picture ..So less Quality.. Whereas if you use Jpegs or Pngs ect your working with Higher Resolution than DV.....Anyway this was my Reasoning..A Way to clean up Footage Perhaps... And No Quality loss After POST Production
