Importing Premiere Project into Vegas Pro

I've searched the forum but came up short -- When I import the Premiere (CC 2017) project file into Vegas Pro 14 (211), Vegas freezes or does nothing... Any suggestions?

I work extensively in Premiere Pro CS6 and discovered through trial and error the following: A PPro timeline has to be bare bones - single track, no transitions or color correction, no titles created in PPro, etc. As long as you abide by that you should be able to import a Premiere Pro Project into Vegas.
