Importing TXT files for captions - aligned with Command markers

Hello there! I am responsible for creating captions for a YouTube channel and I'm using VEGAS Pro 14 to do it. I type up the captions, one for each line in a text document, then place Markers (orange) where I want the captions to appear. Then I import the text file as captions. This puts the Command markers (blue) equally spaced and I'd have to manually move the Command markers to sync up with the video. So I had a friend write up a script to automatically place the Command markers with relevant text aligned with the Markers I've placed. This works great until the very last bit: The captions don't appear because VEGAS Pro 14 did not update the plain-text "Comment" field containing the caption line with the relevant CC1 markup. If I go into the Command Properties, then click out of the Comment box, it auto generates the CC1 markup tags. However, it only does it for that one Command marker. What is going on here and is there a way to autogenerate the CC1 markup for all Command markers?

Let me know if you need further information. Thank you!

Try this: Just create Command Markers instead of regular markers. Now open "Edit Details" and copy the and paste the text into both the "Plain Text" and the Caption fields on the Edit Details screen. Then you don't even need the regular markers or the script you are using.
