importing video files

I'm trying to import a file of a dvd-rw that is used in Sony camcorders. I have been following these steps:
>import>media>then click on the Video_TS folder, then click on VTS_01_0 folder. This has worked for 7 dvd-rw's and now I am having a lot of trouble with the 8th one. Once I drag and drop the file in Vegas's timeline and try to edit and then render to mpg, Vegas freezes and I have to start over. It's very frustrating. I haven't had any luck with this dvd.

Does anyone have any tips??

Have you tried using the DVD IMPORT function?

Is there a chance that the 8th disc wasn't finalized? Generally nothing but the model camcorder that recorded the disc can see anything on it until it's finalized. Your DVD drive often won't even recognize it as a disc when unfinalized, or at best may indicate that it's corrupt or needs to be formatted.

Thanks! I did try the import feature you mentioned and it worked!
