I found this very handy GUIMultipleProjectRender script on the Sundance site, which enables creation of a batch queue for multiple Vegas files. (You need to register with the Sundance site to download this file.)
For anyone interested, I've tweaked the script to display and pre-select only certain templates. I find this very useful as I almost always render to the same handful of file formats.
You'll need to edit the script to insert your desired file formats and template names.

I'd like to eventually upload the script to the Sundance site but a few attempts this afternoon have resulted in problems (an error page or blank page after clicking the final button in the upload process).
