First of all, I want to thank the developers for the significant improvements made to VEGAS Pro in recent years. Features like direct SRT subtitle support are a big step forward.
However, as someone who delivers commercial videos to corporate clients and broadcasters, I often run into a critical issue: font compatibility.
Most companies and broadcasters have their own official fonts. Even after completing an entire project, if a client asks for font changes to match their official style, I frequently find that many fonts simply won’t apply properly in VEGAS Pro—especially when using the “Titles & Text” tool.
It’s frustrating to complete a full project, only to be forced to re-do subtitle work in a different program because VEGAS can’t handle certain fonts. What’s more discouraging is that even entry-level editors like Filmora or CapCut—tools not commonly used by professionals—can apply fonts without issue, while VEGAS Pro cannot.
I understand that users in other countries may face similar problems, but Korean language support is particularly hopeless. Font application issues seem far more severe when working with Korean text.
We urgently need a new title system in VEGAS Pro. Currently, the only title tool that supports importing SRT files is “Titles & Text.” Unfortunately, this tool often fails to properly apply fonts. On the other hand, “ProType Titler” can apply fonts correctly—but does not support SRT import, making it unsuitable as a replacement.
Please consider introducing a new, modern titling system that allows reliable font support—including for Korean—and SRT subtitle import. For those of us delivering professional content, this improvement is
