This is OT mind you - but I heard a news story about this family who just up and opened up their entire home to ppl. being displaced. They just up and moved out of their own home - and said here, have my home.

Tragedy can bring out the best in anyone, if they let it, but hopefully it won't always take mass disaster for us to see the hurting, they are all around us and it's too easy for us to just turn a blind eye to them.
