Info: ATI driver prob.

Just a quick word or three, for those using ATI cards who have ATI's multimedia center installed.

Using the later Catalyst drivers with DX9 installed, *May* have a problem with video related apps (Ulead, Real Helix, Mediostream, SonicFoundry [capture applet only] and so on). Problem occurs when the software tries to access the wdm capture drivers, even in the case of Ulead for example, just to see what's there (no capture selected - not trying to capture).

If you experience something like this, you might try renameing the folder where the ATI MMCenter is stored -- works for me.
