Thanks for the link, this kind of answers a question I had raised a week or so ago. I say 'kind of' as there is no clear answer, even now, as to what the costs could be. This to me is bad, very bad. Not just not knowing what could happen but the administrative cost of keeping records, just keeping my accounts in some manner of order is bad enough.
The again I can fit a decent amount of HD WMV onto a cheap DL red laser disk with apparently no licencing costs that can be played on most PCs, there's only a small number who actually want the content on BD / in HD, most are happy enough to be told it's shot in HD even if it ends up on a SD DVD. Confusing times and there doesn't seem to be any market pressure that'll force it to get sorted anytime soon, especially given the current bleak economic outlook.
