insert time not moving keyframes

I'm trying to insert 4 seconds of time at the start of my VMSP9.0 project to add in some opening credits, but when i Select All and do Insert, Time, it moves all the video and audio tracks but leaves all the keyframe markers in place.

I tried various settings of the Ripple feature with no joy. Haven't been able to attempt the insert with *nothing* selected because unlike apps like Photoshop there doesn't seem to be a "deselect" action in the Select family of actions, so there is always at least one track selected.

What am i missing? Just want to insert a few seconds, move everything to the right and be done with it ... Thx for any help.

Shift-Ctrl-A delesects everything.

You've made sure ripple edits are enabled, as well as selecting all tracks, markers, and regions?

Nod, everything in the project seems to move except the keyframes, which of course are carefully placed to coincide with key points in the video and audio content .... Weird,

To be clear, i have the "Auto-Ripple" button pushed in, and have tried all three settings for it. If there is something in addition to Auto-Ripple that needs to be enabled, then i may still be missing that.

I also have Lock Envelopes to Events enabled (though i tried without it, no joy) and i while track level keyframes are definitely not moving with their events, it also looks like event-level keyframes are also not moving, unless the times in the event level keyframes window are relative to the start of the event rather than absolute project timeline info, but i doubt that.

Nevermind, i got it to work by enabling Snapping and dragged everything. Using Insert/Time seems better because you can as precise as you want when you know exactly how much time you want to insert, but for some reason i can't figure out how to make keyframes move with the content that way.

I wonder if that is a bug or was intended for some reason that i'm not aware of ...

I really don't recall since i haven't used Insert / Time since Ripple Edits were introduced many years ago.

If i need a precise amount i'll put the cursor where i want to insert to start, split, then move the cursor to where the insert should end, adding how much time i want to the timecode at the cursor (setting a loop region of that length can be helpful). Now i can drag the material after the split to the cursor and it will snap there.
