Inserted Media is Cropped off

Hi, I'm working on making a tutorial video and just finished my recording session. I recorded at 1920x1080p, and have set that as my resolution in Sony Vegas, but whenever I insert the video session, the image is blown up and stretched out. It looks fine in Windows Media Player, so I'm completely stumped. It also does the same thing for Vegas Movie Studio. Can someone help me?

right click on the program window and see if you have your image set to fill the monitor viewing area.

From the image it looks like your project is set to 1280x720p. Go into the project settings and check.
